[ whenever kazuki makes his way up to the observation deck, he will find that someone's already there. or, like, two someones, seeing how roboji is also here. shoma's back in his regular clothes and he has his headphones on, seemingly concentrating on adjusting something on roboji's arm. it's debatable if he's aware kazuki's there, but given the slightest turn of his head it's a safe bet.
he doesn't speak first though. he rarely does when it comes to people he doesn't really know, but he does find himself curious what kazuki might do. so he will wait.
roboji, on the other hand, wheels around and lifts a hand to wave. it at least has enough intelligence not to use the arm shoma's working on. ]
[ kazuki's also changed, and now he has a guitar strapped to his back! he's fiddling with the iris as he comes in, but pauses to wave back as roboji gets his attention.
in the void, kazuki is lingering by the junior crew rooms, and it means he's going to find that shoma's coming down from another direction with roboji wheeling after him. the vibes are. extremely broody for a moment, but he pauses upon seeing him. ]
...dude. [ hey. are you just as alarmed but unsurprised? ]
[ as he's approaching, shoma will feel distress pouring off of him in waves. but the second kazuki realizes he's there, it pulls back - like he's trying to swallow it down, but he's not entirely successful. ]

[ that's. all he's got right now. he's still in a state of shock. ]
[ anyway today blows. what a time...nine hours of absolute insanity and...yeah, they found the right answer, but it's hard to decide how to feel about that. either way, when kazuki is out and about, he will likely turn a corner and find shoma sitting in a hallway by himself, fiddling with some stuff on his iris. it's entirely possible it's infinite craft, and while he isn't entirely focused the vibes he's projecting are like a forced sort of calm.

Looks that way. I've never had a chance to introduce it to other machines, so this is new. But there's pretty cool, right?

...depends who you ask. But I liked and respected him and his work. We had an understanding about stuff. And I knew all he wanted to do was save himself. So having this happen was...a lot.
[ he is in the rec room under a bunch of blankets. he's not watching the tv or anything, more here just to be warm and in an area people are likely to come through. he looks like he's healed enough that he's not openly bleeding and his wounds are closed, but there are bandages on some of the bigger ones just in case.
but he really is bundled up so it's hard to see anything else. ]

If anything, they owe us at least two days to try to sort it out. Not that a company is going to care that much.
[ planetside they go! kazuki and a friend are peering at all the shops... the daytime ones, though, because he's still not sure about the night market. ]
All these planets really make you start to appreciate that Earth isn't all one climate, don't they?
[ his poor iron man suit took some of the paint, but luckily he could just hover enough to dodge most of it. by the time he catches up with kazuki, the suit's deactivated and he's back to the 18 year old avatar, non-paintified and everything. ]

[ let's do library! it's quiet here, and it means that shoma's able to take some time to himself while he's browsing through a handful of books at his leisure. it's the physical ones, and he has a stack of them next to him.
for some reason he's also on the floor? he's sitting on the floor, back against the wall and sort of slumped over with one of the books. he looks mostly physically fine, although there is some of that rust-like sludge leaking out from various crevices of his metal arm, along with a larger swath in his shoulder.

[ grins back at him and offers a lil wave! haze is on his shoulder as usual, and from there it's not hard to see the ring of rust around his throat. he's also wearing gloves today? it's just fashion, probably. ]
Not if it means we have to put on a whole exoskeleton to do it. That's too much effort for a place that doesn't seem to have much I'd be interested in, anyway.

[ he's at least out of the pod to give someone else a turn and settled on one of the beds or what-have-you. there's minimal healing, enough that he's not bleeding and the chest wound is closed, and his burns and bruises are healed to a minimal degree. the area around his eye is healed the most, but it's currently shut. he's probably going to have to pod himself again later, but that's later.
anyway he just looks...not thrilled. ]
