I was around twelve years old when I started playing. Went to a concert over summer break and decided then and there it was what I wanted to do. But like I said, I was on my own for years, so I only started improving for real recently.

Yeah. I mean I started taking stuff apart when I was six but the "putting it back together into something" part came later. Course correction's not so bad. You just have to retrain your brain a little at a time. We've all done it.

Some people do say it's the little things that help. Everybody's motivation is different, so...maybe it's not bad to talk to people more about theirs and keep them focused. We're far enough in now that I don't want to let people fall behind.
