[ whenever kazuki makes his way up to the observation deck, he will find that someone's already there. or, like, two someones, seeing how roboji is also here. shoma's back in his regular clothes and he has his headphones on, seemingly concentrating on adjusting something on roboji's arm. it's debatable if he's aware kazuki's there, but given the slightest turn of his head it's a safe bet.

Roboji was in stasis for as long as we were, so it's preliminary checks to make sure all of its pieces are in-tact and functioning correctly. So far everything looks good, but its used its arms more lately that a little tightening's necessary.

Yeah. It's where I'm from. [ his profile says "earth" but he does not think it's a problem to elaborate when kazuki is obviously familiar. ] And yeah. I had a lot of spare parts leftover from the first robot I made that I could use, but I did some upgrades and got some better material for the internal circuits and everything. It runs smoother and faster this way.

Over a dozen people are from some form of Earth based on my count. It's possible that some of those versions are the same and they're just people who've never crossed paths, but...you're right. It doesn't explain why it's just that one world.
