More or less, yeah. And sometimes you get the wrong string entirely because you can't actually feel which one it is through the fabric. Makes it even harder.

Maybe I should be glad most of my hobbies involve a little grease in the first place. [ he says, absolutely aware there is a difference but not caring much. ] Guess it just means playing catch-up next week when this is over.

Yeah, I'm gonna leave any physical activity like that to you. Have fun with that. [ he likes being outside and he doesn't mind being active but running on a treadmill willingly sounds awful. ]

Alright, nerd. [ affectionate. ] Hauling around parts for your robots can't be the only exercise you do. It's not that bad once you get used to it.

It's not, no. [ the only exercise, or so bad? yes. ] But after a while it starts to feel a little pointless.

Mm, maybe. [ especially in shoma's shoes... ] I dunno, though, I never thought it was that bad.

[ that's because kazuki is concerned with his appearance, though. gotta look good to be a rock star. ]

[ he just stares at kazuki for a second, doing the once-over with his eyes. ]

That's because you're like... [ he gestures with a hand. ] It makes sense.

[ this isn't even meant to be offensive, he just means kazuki is objectively good-looking so it makes sense to keep up the appearance. ]

It's seriously not as bad as it sounds.

Well, hey, the one good thing is that it's not stopping us from doing anything as long as we don't touch it. And covering it up definitely helps.

Maybe I'll follow your lead this week and invest in some gloves. Or at least one. [ rusty greasy metal hand. ] The good thing is we know what to expect now.

It's just a week, anyway. We'll get by.
