I've learned more about firearms in the last two weeks than I have in eighteen years. It's really crazy to think of the skills we picked up just because we had to. But you did good out there. [ that is a sentiment he gets though. ]

I'm not convinced everything's done either. This whole week has lead up to today that it feels...weird to just settle and wait for tomorrow. Rationally, yes, things are stabilized but there's always a "what if."

I want to go home, obviously. And to be able to visit everyone later - and your friends. [ provided shinjuku is still around, of course. ] And, hopefully, for no more space parasites like that to happen around the universe or multiverse or whatever it is we're calling it these days. That's... about as far as I've thought about it.

Yeah. I don't like the weight of indecision hanging over me like this. I don't think most people do. [ but...hum. ]

It's still not bad as far as wants go. I don't think we need big wishlists, but I guess I've been curious if people's have changed in the aftermath of the last few days. [ both the planning, the party yesterday, and today. ]

I think my wishlist is pretty basic, all things considered. I'm not even sure what I'd add to it? Maybe things like your problem, but I feel like that's not really my place to decide on, you know?

The sentiment's appreciated, at least. That's definitely on a separate wishlist and to-do list, but it's not like my own isn't basic either. I've been thinking on if the stuff I want is too much or not.

Because I'm not used to getting what I ask for? [ so he's acknowledging it's a shoma problem rather than thinking they don't all deserve something after all of this. ]

Getting home, having a way to see everyone, and the money. Those are my biggest priorities right now. [ ... ] I am and I'm not looking forward to getting home.

Ichika was working on that, but I don't know how it was going. I'll just have to go home and find out. [ he shrugs. ] Won't be waiting that long, at least.

I've been worrying about people for weeks now. What's a few more days? [ but there's a short grin.] And then after we hear from you then we'll figure out how to see each other. Easy.

Right. How hard can it be now that we know interdimensional travel is real, anyway? But I think I'll leave figuring that out to you guys.

Thanks a lot. [ he gets it though. ] That might be even out of my pay grade, but...someone's bound to make it work. We all got here. There has to be something to send us back and go between. And if they refuse to help us before we leave then...new plan. People are stubborn enough.

Hey, we've all got our specialties. Best I can do is give you guys some good music for it.

But you know, I could absolutely see a good chunk of this crew straight up stealing the tech for it, if they had to. We had to get here somehow, so there's got to be something they could take if they really try to tell us no.

You can never underestimate a good BGM. [ no. ] Ans that's definitely true. Scien was already talking about taking some things for himself to bring to his island to work on some stuff. If you know what you're doing with it, may as well use it. [ ... ] Meanwhile I'm only thinking about maybe going back to the mall and grabbing more stuff to bring back. Clothes are expensive.

[ he has finally hit a point he is ready to stop wearing his 6+ year old stuff. ]

You totally should. I'm keeping some of it, too - why not, right? And I thought about grabbing some stuff from the music store, but it got wrecked after the ship got hit... A lot of the stuff in there got messed up.

We could always go see if any of it is salvageable? It's worth a look. Something had to survive.

I'm planning to dig through it later, yeah. The less I have to buy myself, the better, you know? I think the bigger instruments are probably going to be trashed, but some of the smaller stuff might be okay.

Yeah. And if the bigger ones aren't too bad off I bet we could repair them into being functional again. Unless you think they wouldn't sound the same even after that.
