It's...been a running theme lately, I think. [ follows along, taking a few quick strides to catch up but easily walking beside him. ] The idea of forgetting pain and just being happy. It's a tempting offer after everything we've been through here and in our own lives.
[ and yet it's foolish to do so. ]
As long as we stick together at least, we can't get that distracted.
[ NOT THE FLESH. but he does kind of wrinkle his nose because yeah...yeah. this place is probably a lie. let him live in ignorance for a little longer. ]
I know you're right, but...[ ugh. ] It wouldn't be a bad idea if we had time to manage it. There has to be a planet out there that isn't under the influence and we could stay for even a weekend. Galaxies are huge.
[ they can both live in ignorance and just enjoy this beautiful trail ]
Indeed, I actually find the idea of exploring new worlds rather interesting when voluntary. I still marvel remembering those electronic steeds from Anoria.
Exactly. It's...weird to think about it, but if it weren't for everything else happening this tour would be something I'd actually like a lot. The idea of getting to see new places and learn about new technologies and maybe helping people...it isn't bad. [ there's a slight grin. ] I miss the E.L.C. And a lot of people weren't a huge fan of Volk but they had a really cool workshop and all kinds of tools I've never seen before. And I don't know anyone who didn't like Rodin. It's one of those things where the possibilities are endless.
[ yeah, sometimes everything about this game would be your jam if it weren't for the parasite and murder. ]
We do, yeah. Space travel's been a thing for us for a while, but nothing like this. Who knows when that might happen? [ but he seems thoughtful about this, like he's debating if it's a possibility. ] I wouldn't call it impossible.
[ it is w7 and effects are on, so he hears that and suddenly a dog tail sprouts and wags, pleased. ]
I know a few of us have been talking about finding a way to see each other again when we all leave. And...I really, really want that to be a thing. There's so many of you I don't want to lose touch with just because this is over.

Even I find myself wishing I could forget our troubles and simply admire it.

[ cut to tomorrow when it's all flesh ]
I wonder if we should seek out a genuinely pleasant planet for rest before returning back to our lives.

You come from a technologically advanced world, do you not? What are the chances you might come by space travel in the near future?
[ fond feelings ]
I would be glad to see you again as well.
