[ perhaps guy is wandering, but he will soon find his way in the mess hall and maybe even peering toward the galley. shoma is here with roboji, and the robot's hand is pressing on the shield that's blocking their entrance.

the emotions are pretty neutral, but there's a stray thought of both of them...? ]

[ he's coming specifically to check if shoma is okay, so there's the vibe of concern and tension. a bit of relief when he spots shoma ]

... Looks like it. Did you get trapped somewhere last night?

[ he's been getting that response a lot today, very funny. also for flavor ig he's also in a black bomber jacket that is. extremely big on him, the arms baggy and half-hiding an orange css eudora patch and it's hard to put his hands in his pockets when they're buried in fabric.

Yeah. It sounds like we all did. Where were you?

If I had to guess, it was the same symptoms he had. When he started to die, it stopped.

Yeah. Almost like... whoever was doing it just wanted to give us all a taste of what it felt like.

You think it was being purposefully caused by somebody?

Didn't seem like a coincidence, that's all. And all sorts of strange things have been happening these past few days....

...maybe if the pain was coming from Luke himself and that's what you all were feeling, it's just that his nervous system finally shut down before the rest of him did.

[mansplains]

Yeah, it's possible. It was just stronger than anything else I've experienced this week....

But if we were all trapped in there with him, and it was his pain, it could have been like a feedback loop.

I'm wondering the same. If one person started it, and then another person picked it up, and another person picked that up...it'd spread. Sort of like a virus. You'd feel it more intensely with mass exposure.

[mansplains]

Yeah. And we were trapped in there, so.... an echo chamber, in a sense.

[ scrubs his hand through his hair ]

Dahut, though, I really have no idea.

I don't know if it would help to know what Dahut was doing before the lockdown or not. But maybe?

Dahut was with us in the same spot, and I thought he just passed out at the same time we did...

[ but honestly, he doesn't remember one way or another. they just kathunked ]

No, I meant before the lockdown like before everybody got stuck with other people. [ i.e. if he was with anyone else or if he was elsewhere. ]

Guess we'll just have to ask and see if we can find out.
