[scien finally pushes himself up to sitting here, tuned in enough to listen, even as his emotions continue to dwell around a contemplative state. he rests his head in his hands and closes his eyes, looking probably as if he's || this close to nodding off]
They're pretty useless, huh.
Scrambled memories, inability to fix basic technology that they should be trained on... seems like they got promoted past their level of competence.
Yup. I'm starting to think that they were put here more as a means of monitoring what we do rather than actually helping us proceed, or that they're being watched just as much as we are. But, that doesn't exactly help us, and so we're left on our own to figure things out. So whatever that means...[ he shrugs. ]
[he tilts his head, thoughtful, before deciding that a dead man has nothing to lose with a bit more honesty - ]
Most of this ship I am neutral on their fates aside from general hoping life persists... but I find myself interested in what becomes of yours. Put on a good show so I can have a laugh when I look up from Hades.
[ it is. hard to say if he finds this to be a good thing or a bad thing, though he does think that perhaps...it's not the worst outcome. ]
Sure. If anyone could find a way to send a performance review from hell, it'd be you. [ hah. ] I already said I'm going to go until I can't. But not getting off of this ship isn't an option.
Thank you, Scien. [ even if he doesn't take the option, the option's available and that's more than he'd had before. it's another route he can follow if he chooses, something that might mean something someday. ]
...if I have any other questions during the week, I'll be back. [ until tomorrow when scien's dead body shows up, but it's fine. ] But I'll keep that in mind, too.

And if you care to take a stop in Arpéchéle after all this, it's obvious enough that you'd be able to appeal to whatever Scien Brofiise and Dahut you find there. Make use of every resource, even if it's us.
