Doubt it. I think most of us are approaching our jobs a little differently this week while we're working on the set-up. I did mine Sunday but that was before we all got together.
Yeah. I can still put cameras around, and I expect I’ll get up early to check them but— it’s not like other weeks where I’m trying to guess where someone might decide to murder someone.
Mm. I set up cameras where I think something’s going to happen, and then on the Friday I have time before everyone wakes up to check the footage and to check a location.
There’s enough time for me to wander to a few if I don’t find anything, but— if I do find something [ snow laughing at me in the background ] then I can dig around before Saturday.
So many of our designations really rely on us making educated guesses and hoping for the best while expecting the worst. [ like. damn. how the hell do you predict where someone might murder someone??? ] And all of evidence that's already at the trial ahead of time comes from the stuff you find, right?
Sometimes it was just easier to figure where people would sleep that night. If a victim was there, you might get footage of the first parts of the fighting that way. [ it sounds clinical, but the spa video was an example of exactly that. ]
The park was an obvious choice. Both for cameras and looking around. That kind of thing.
[ he nods. ] I couldn't bring back bodies, that was on the senior crew. But, I could gather info about what I'd seen, weapons, that kind of stuff.
So picking a place that seemed popular and hoping for a hit. That's about as good a method as any. [ ... ] Your choices really helped us in the end. We were able to narrow down stuff a lot sooner than if we'd have to find the information ourselves and maybe misinterpret it entirely.
Definitely not. Everybody had the same priority but...the method to get there was always hit and miss. [ he's watching the coral for a moment. ] ...and in the end it did save people.

[ he's not sure there's anyone he really needs to yell at, but one or two he might want to corner. ]

But I don't know if he connected with them outside of that seance earlier in the week. [ his boyfriend is alive again, after all. ]

and lo', there was violence. ]
Pretty much. Guess work, but it seemed to work out.
[ for better or worse. ]
Mm. The evidence and footage was something to focus on while we were waiting on first reports and someone to check the bodies at least.

Sometimes in the heat of the moment, we miss things.
[ thinks about shu checking throné 15 minutes before the end of the trial and shakes. ]
But if it helped then I guess it wasn't a waste of time.
