I was hoping we were past the coy stage, but I know you're probably right. [ :nyeh: ]
That's what I'm thinking, too. And I'm hoping that they'll be able to tell us. You remember when they were all here a few weeks ago? Whenever they tried to say certain things, they'd either glitch or start speaking French or something. Like a blocker.
Nah, personal as in — [ he circles a finger. the ship. ] But there might’ve been things they weren’t sure about, or entirely willing to share until they had more data at that point.
Ah. Yeah that's probably the most likely, as much as it sucks. But until we find a way to fully circumvent the ship this is where we are. [ hum. ] We do have a lot of smart people on that side who're doing a ton of tests. It wouldn't surprise me if they weren't sure of stuff yet because they were checking.
Scien's been sending me and Yuri messages via ciphers. That's worked out for...a lot of things. But some things are still getting cancelled out. Guess it's more trial and error than anything.
For me it was usually the same one. Same with Yuri, I think, but he probably wised up and he's going to start mixing them up a little to try and get things through. Or, at least, change the wording so it's more innocuous to be able to get through to us.
Yeah, if the thing can filter and block things on regular messages, switching up the cipher's probably a good idea. If it can learn, it'll start blocking it as soon as it gets some idea of what's going on.
It's an AI, so it's undoubtedly learning as we go. It's probably also picking up on our own patterns to the point it can start predicting things. Like where we might go, or things we might avoid. The real question is how do we outsmart it?
Basically do the opposite of what you'd normally do. Yeah, maybe that'd work. Switch every other day so it can't learn your patterns. [ this is not a real suggestion. ]

Oh, that. Yeah, Dahut kept saying things and it'd sound like a truck was driving past.

Luke completely glitched out of existence and never came back when I asked him something. [ tiredly. ] Weirdest day of my life.
[ this is also said facetiously because he has. witnessed many weird things. ]

... Yeah, I guess they had bad connection. Or obvious personal interference.
[ there has been so much weird shit they're on a flesh ship. ]
