Yeah. [ yeah. ] We weren't on it for that long, just enough to talk to two members of the Before Team to get an idea of where we were going to debrief for our mission. We were preparing for a casino heist.

Yeah. And we also thought we were supposed to be there. It was like...we remembered the ship and our lives and everything, but it felt like this was supposed to be something we were doing and we signed up to go after this thing. I don't know if that makes sense, but that's how it seemed. I didn't think anything was weird about suddenly being on a bus with a new bracelet and five bombs.
[ just reminds him of how everyone here who's killed seems sure that they were in control of themselves when they did it and that the anger they were feeling was their own and not coming from some other source. maybe they're related. ]
Yeah. It didn't feel weird at first but, like, the longer we were there the more we all acknowledged a lot of things were happening that shouldn't have been happening. [ the illusion broke pretty early and it's because they're a bunch of assholes, really. but he shakes his head. ]
No. I just had them on me in case I needed them. Isabel had a gun and Charles had a sword. When we got to the pawnbroker's we bought a dagger for me, too.
[ lowe said "pick a weapon" and i went "bombs" because i think i'm funny. anyway, he does not seem that perturbed about that. ] I didn't even really need them until after we got out of the basement of the casino and met up with the other three anyway.
