[ on the observation deck today, there is one (1) boy and a friend sitting out of the way and facing the large glass walls looking out toward the stars. the boy has the multitool in his hand and seems to be assessing the robot's joints, but the robot is the one who notices that they have company and lifts a hand in a wave. hello! ]
Not that arm. [ he scolds the robot for a moment because hello? dude? he's trying to check for damages, but he looks up in that direction and spots anise. oh. that is a child. huh.
he doesn't, like, verbally say hello or anything but he does pause long enough to give her an acknowledging nod. maybe she's just here to vibe on her own? he can respect that. ]

I wonder if there's just, like, one crazy-rich weirdo at the top of it all? It's hard to imagine that this is how delivery companies are normally run... even in space.
Every company starts with just one guy, don't they? For all we know maybe it is a crazy-rich weirdo who realized they could monopolize on deliveries in space since nobody else was doing it. I didn't even think to ask what kind of competition Nut & Bolt has. Or if we're going to run into anybody else on this tour.

Yesterday, trial day, was Saturday, and the day we learned about Dahut and Luke was Friday. The lockdown was on Thursday. The day we had to fix the ship and had that party was Wednesday. The day before that is Tuesday, and Monday comes before that. Pretty easy to track when you have events to tie them to.
