Yeah. We remembered towards the end but-- I think they messed with Harley, Shouxue and Viktor more. They didn't even remember the Eudora, let alone remember us.
I don't get it. This keeps happening, especially when people go on the anomaly trips. Even if you don't lose your memories outright, they're still altered a little to where you question a lot less than you should.
The missions are planned, the anomaly ones aren't. Could be there's something a set mission protects us from, because they have time to prepare for it.
Maybe. I was talking to Amalthea about this a little bit a few days ago. It's possible that the anomalies are actually reacting to us in order to change our mental states. Like picking up on us and altering whatever it feels like to get us to, uh, assimilate basically. All of these things seem tuned into us even if we're experiencing the same things as the people we're with. I know when Charles, Isabel and I were gone there was a point all of us entered the same door but we went to three different places to experience three different things.
Exactly. [ it sure is creepy. ] I'm not sure what would cause the differences to occur, but it's something to keep in mind. Especially if these trips keep happening.
More like, it's random how much we remember or not. I don't think there was anything majorly different for the two groups in terms of when we were taken and we all ended up in the same place, but one of us forgot everything and the other only forgot a little.
I wish we could understand these things better before they happen to anticipate them better. But...whatever. At least everyone's back and safe again. Now it's just a matter of getting through tomorrow.
All we really know is the days people come back. It's not even set how many groups go, we've had one small group, big groups, split sized groups-- there's no logic to it.
As long as we have charges on the heal guns, we should be able to cover most of the injuries. You all managed to bring me, Lucien and Harley back from basically being dead.
Yeah. [ ... ] You guys came flying out and I kind of panicked and mass-texted everybody to come help. The guns came in handy to stabilize you until people could get you to the medbay, so it's good to know they work.

... Yeah, let's just be glad we made it back. [ remember how he was basically dead? wow. ]

Not since leaving. We forgot Eunhyuk killed Viktor while we were there though, until towards the end.

...like...as in you forgot that was the cause, period? You just thought they were both dead for other reasons? [ that's weird. ]

[ ... ]
Something other than all the injuries we get.

Creepy.
But-- that could be it. We weren't fully assimilated into what was happening, but the others were. Kinda like different stages of being immersed.

It worked out well, in the end. So, having them on hand on Thursdays is probably a good idea.
